Practice Specialty Groups
Learn about different areas of legal practice with in ABA Specialty Practice Groups. These Sections, Divisions and Forum Committees act much like independent bar associations with their own officers, dues, committees, and specialized resources. Each has a wealth of content and programming in their area of focus, and countless networking and career development opportunities for law students.
Students get free membership in five groups as a part of ABA membership.
The two biggest yearly ABA events are ABA Annual Meeting and ABA Midyear Meeting. Law students who will attend will find unprecedented networking opportunities with attorneys and access to programming.
Networking with Other Law Students
Attend substantive programming and network with practicing attorneys and other law students from across the country.
Circuit Spring Meetings
In February or March, the Division’s fifteen (15) circuits each convene an annual meeting at a law school within that circuit. [Help finding my circuit]

As an ABA Law Student Division member, you are automatically subscribed to your Circuit electronic discussion group. Log on to MyABA and manage your subscriptions.
