Liaison - Dictionary

So you’ve been following our Mental Health Day content for the past two days. Now you think it’s time for you to make a difference. Well, we’ve got two great opportunities for you to get involved through the Law Student Division.

First, we’re opening our application process to select our Law Student Mental Health and Wellness Director for the 2016-2017 year. The person in this position will help update our Mental Health Resources page and plan for Mental Health Day in 2017. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with many of our contributors and work with law schools across the country to help address mental health on campus.

Also, the ABA Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs is still accepting applications for its liaison position for 2016-2017. The liaison’s goal is to build a relationship with the leadership of an ABA entity and help that group develop content, programs and events for law students focused on that group’s special expertise. It’s a great way to network with leaders in the ABA and with lawyers across the country. You can find the basic liaison job description on our Become an Entity Liaison page.

These two positions will both help the Law Student Division get the word out about mental health information and assistance that is available to law schools and students.

Apply for both positions here. You can also see what other open liaison positions are available.
