Roberts RulesAs part of the requirement that all ABA representatives and SBA presidents attend and participate in the Law Student Division Assembly, these law students are required to view the Robert’s Rules webinar. This is a guide to the parliamentary rules that govern the Assembly.

ABA representatives, SBA presidents, and liaisons should also familiarize themselves with the candidates for Division Vice Chair, Delegate of Diversity, Delegate of Communications, and Delegate of Programming. Campaigning will continue through August 2. Information on the candidates and our online Q&A sessions are available on our elections page.

Law Student Schedule

Most students should attend from Wednesday night, August 1, through Saturday evening, August 4. There are a few required events for ABA Representatives and SBA Presidents.

Here’s an overview of the schedule, just for law students.

But there’s much more to Annual Meeting than just law students programming. Students can attend most of the programs and events whether they’re hosted by the Law Student Division, Young Lawyers Division, or any other ABA entity. Start building your conference schedule now.

Visit the ABA’s Annual Meeting site to learn more.

Voting Information: Council Elections and Assembly

The ABA Law Student Division Assembly is the voice of law students in the ABA. It is an opportunity for ABA Representatives, SBA Presidents, and Division Entity Liaisons to represent their law school by voting on resolutions that will help form the Division’s voice within the ABA for the coming year. Find out more about the Assembly voting and proxy voting procedures.

ABA Representatives and SBA Presidents, please check that you are properly reported and eligible to vote by downloading this current listing! Any voters reported after July 30th at 12PM CST will not be able to vote.
