Historically, many court systems across the nation have been fairly slow to adopt new technological advances. However, COVID-19 has underscored the need for change in the way the judicial system must approach the adoption of technology and many of its procedures to ensure there is continued access to justice.
This program will discuss some of the current and future problems facing the judicial system, provide tips and resources on how young lawyers can put their best foot forward when stepping into a virtual court setting (including how attendees can ensure they are being their clients’ best advocate) and tools that may be available to help young lawyers with conducting depositions, mediations, witness via video, etc.
