Planning to take the bar exam soon? Looking to get ahead and start preparing for the bar exam early? Make sure you are on the right track to pass the bar exam the first time with these easy to implement tips! There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.

The Virtual Office Hours series connects you with experts to help you thrive as a law student and prepare for life after law school.

This Virtual Office Hours will be conducted by JD Advising’s tutor, Lisa Cline, MD, JD. Lisa Cline is an Attorney Content Creator and Coordinator for JD Advising. Lisa tutors students who are preparing for the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) and the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE). Lisa also tutors law students, including students in the JD Advising Scholars Program.

Lisa graduated first in her class and summa cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Lisa scored in the 98th percentile on North Carolina’s UBE. Lisa is licensed to practice law in North Carolina. Before attending law school, Lisa received her MD from East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine. Lisa graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in biology.

While in law school, Lisa participated in three of Mitchell Hamline’s law journals and published two student notes, both of which are available on Westlaw. Lisa was executive editor of Mitchell Hamline’s Law Review Volume 45. During law school, Lisa earned six awards from the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI) for the highest grade in the following classes: Advanced Civil Dispute Resolution, Advocacy, Commercial Law, Contracts, Professional Responsibility, and Transactions and Settlements.
